Hi, my name is Leslie. Welcome to my webpage. I live in beautiful San Diego, California. I have three very spoiled felines, McKinley and Bugaboo, otherwise known as Tank, Chuckles and Fang, respectively. (Don't ask-its a long story.) No other pets just yet, though a dog, parrot, goat, horse, and pot-bellied pig are in the works. This is Rex, (rather it was Rex.  I promise to get a new photo!) my best friend and most trusted companion. We have been a quite a few adventures together in our Toyota Taco-me. Recently , we drove all the way down the Baja peninsula to Cabo San Lucas. We found a wonderful little town called Todos Santos where we spent a few days relaxing before heading home.

I have lots of hobbies,  but my favorites are gardening and drawing. Currently, we have limited space so, my garden is getting a little crowded. That's okay, I like it that way. My first orchid just bloomed the other day! I am particularly fond of bromeliads, hibiscus, and staghorn ferns, but I'll take anything that I find abandoned.

I really enjoy drawing, but I have to be in the mood. If I am, I can draw for four or five hours at a time. My grandmother, Jo Ann Stephens, has been a porcelain artist for many years and she sparked the interest in art in me when I was younger. I love to watch her paint and to go see her  newest works. She is truly amazing. Lately, I have been trying to learn to paint as well. I bought some oils and acrylics to experiment with. Here is my first painting.
